Model Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Sistem Pemilahan Sampah Plastik Terpadu di Desa Margaharja

Sampah plastik yang sulit terurai menjadi permasalahan lingkungan utama di tingkat rumah tangga, sering berakhir berserakan di lingkungan dan mencemari sungai akibat tidak adanya sistem pemilahan yang efektif. Program ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan fasilitas khusus sampah plastik di setiap dusun, sekaligus mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemilahan sampah dari sumbernya untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pembuatan dan distribusi bak sampah plastik yang sederhana dan tahan lama ke setiap dusun, dilengkapi dengan sosialisasi aktif kepada warga mengenai tata cara pemilahan sampah dan potensi nilai ekonomi dari sampah plastik yang terkumpul. Sebanyak 5 bak sampah berhasil didistribusikan. Dampak yang terlihat adalah lingkungan desa yang lebih bersih, peningkatan kesadaran warga dalam memilah sampah, serta terkumpulnya sampah plastik yang siap untuk didaur ulang atau dijual, membuka peluang ekonomi baru. Program bak sampah plastik ini terbukti sebagai langkah praktis dan berkelanjutan. Program ini tidak hanya langsung mengatasi masalah kebersihan tetapi juga membangun pondasi sistem pengelolaan sampah yang terpadu dan memberdayakan masyarakat secara ekonomi dan lingkungan.
