Kompleks logam Cobalt (II) dengan ligan turunan tiourea telah banyak diteliti dan dipelajari dalam pengembangan obat anti kanker. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menemukan kandidat antikanker yang lebih poten dari senyawa Cobalt (II)-tiourea dengan cara mempelajari interaksi pada DNA Dodecamer. Metode yang digunakan adalah simulasi docking dan prediksi farmakokinetik dan toksisitas. Dua senyawa Cobalt (II)-tiourea yaitu senyawa Bis-[3-methyl-1-(naphthalene-2-carbonyl)thiourea] Cobalt (III) dan Bis-[1-(4-heptylbenzoyl)-3-methylthiourea] Cobalt (III) yang diprediksi sebagai kandidat antikanker melalui interaksi dengan DNA Dodecamer.References
