FORMULASI TABLET HISAP EKSTRAK ETANOL UMBI WORTEL DENGAN VARIASI PULVIS GUMMI ARABICI DAN MANITOL SEBAGAI KANDIDAT ANTIJAMUR ORAL

Kandidiasis oral merupakan infeksi jamur pada rongga mulut yang umumnya disebabkan oleh proliferasi Candida albicans. Umbi wortel (Daucus carota L.) berpotensi sebagai antijamur alami karena mengandung flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin, dan saponin. Penelitian ini bertujuan memformulasikan ekstrak etanol umbi wortel menjadi sediaan tablet hisap dengan variasi konsentrasi Pulvis Gummi Arabici (PGA) sebagai bahan pengikat dan manitol sebagai bahan pemanis, serta mengevaluasi karakteristik fisik dan tingkat kesukaan responden. Tablet hisap dibuat menggunakan metode granulasi basah dalam lima formula, yaitu Formula I (PGA 2,5% : manitol 17,5%), Formula II (5% : 15%), Formula III (10% : 10%), Formula IV (15% : 5%), dan Formula V (17,5% : 2,5%). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Shapiro–Wilk, dilanjutkan dengan One Way ANOVA atau uji Kruskal–Wallis sesuai distribusi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi konsentrasi PGA dan manitol tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kadar air, sudut diam, waktu alir, dan indeks kompresibilitas granul (p>0,05), tetapi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap bobot jenis nyata, bobot jenis mampat, kekerasan tablet, waktu hancur, kerapuhan, dan keseragaman ukuran tablet (p<0,05). Formula IV (PGA 15% dan manitol 5%) menghasilkan karakteristik fisik paling optimal serta tingkat kesukaan responden tertinggi (78%), sehingga berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai kandidat tablet hisap antijamur oral.
