AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DAN INHIBISI ENZIM TIROSINASE EKSTRAK ETANOL BUAH GANDARIA (Bouea macrophylla Griff.) SECARA IN VITRO

Radikal bebas merupakan penyebab masalah kulit, salah satunya adalah hiperpigmentasi yaitu disebabkan oleh adanya peningkatan aktivitas enzim tirosinase. Ekstrak etanol 70% buah gandaria (Bouea macrophylla Griff.) memiliki senyawa fenolik, tanin, vitamin C, flavonoid, flavonol, serta antosianin yg bisa menangkal radikal bebas serta mengurangi risiko permasalahan kulit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan serta inhibisi enzim tirosinase ekstrak etanol buah B. macrophylla secara in vitro. Pada pembuatan ekstrak buah B. macrophylla, pelarut yang digunakan nya adalah etanol 70% dengan metode maserasi, skrining fitokimia, uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH, serta inhibisi enzim tirosinase memakai substrat L-DOPA. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol buah B. macrophylla memiliki kategori sangat kuat dengan nilai IC50 47,064 µg/mL, serta inhibisi enzim tirosinase paling tinggi diperoleh dengan nilai 47,529%.References
