Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) merupakan suatu penyakit yang memerlukan pengobatan kompleks jangka panjang untuk dapat mempertahankan kondisi dan kualitas hidupnya. Untuk itu diperlukan pengetahuan yang memadai terkait penyakit dan tatalaksana pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dengan kualitas hidup pasien GGK. Rancangan penelitian berupa cross sectional study. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu RS Swasta Denpasar, Bali yang mengikutsertakan 105 responden pada bulan Mei 2021 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kriteria inklusi meliputi pasien GGK yang rutin menjalani hemodialisis (HD) minimal dua kali seminggu, berusia ≥18 tahun serta bersedia mengisi kuesioner, sedangkan kriteria eksklusi meliputi pasien dalam kondisi lemah, hamil atau menyusui. Data penelitian diperoleh dari pengisian kuesioner pengetahuan (Chronic Kidney Disease Knowledge Questionnaire) dan kualitas hidup (Kidney Disease Quality of Life 36 serta rekam medik pasien. Analisis data terkait hubungan pengetahuan dengan kualitas hidup menggunakan uji Spearman Rho. Diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu sebagian besar pasien berjenis kelamin laki-laki (66,7%), berusia <60 tahun (77,1%), mengalami GGK <3 tahun (70,5%), tingkat pendidikan SMA (36,2%), tidak bekerja (>50,5%), mengalami komplikasi (76,2%) dan memperoleh 5 obat (66,67%). Rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan pasien dalam kategori sedang (18,233,54). Rata-rata nilai kualitas hidup >60 pada dimensi gejala yang dialami, efek terkait GGK dan kesehatan mental, sedangkan <60 pada dimensi beban penyakit dan kesehatan fisik. Meskipun demikian, terdapat hubungan signifikan dan positif antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kualitas hidup pada dimensi gejala yang dialami (p=0,003;r=0,285) dan kesehatan fisik (p=0,007;r=0,261). Pasien dengan pengetahuan yang lebih baik menunjukkan nilai kualitas hidup yang semakin baik pula.
