JOB'S TEARS (HANJELI) COMMODITY SUPPLY CHAIN ​​PATTERN IN WALURAN MANDIRI VILLAGE, SUKABUMI REGENCY

Abstrak

Job's tears (Hanjeli) is a local food commodity developed as an economic base for the community in Hanjeli Tourism Village, Waluran Mandiri, Sukabumi Regency. This study aims to describe the supply chain pattern of the Job's tears (Hanjeli) commodity, including the flows of goods, financial resources, and information. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through observation and in-depth interviews. Research informants included farmers who are members of the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) and the Farmers Group (Poktan), production house managers, and managers of the Hanjeli Tourism Village. The results show that the flow of goods begins with KWT and Poktan farmers, then passes through the production house to the Hanjeli Tourism Village, and ends with visitors as the final consumers. Financial flows run from visitors to the tourism village managers, then to the production house, and become income for KWT and Poktan members. Information flows in two directions to support coordination among actors. This supply chain pattern demonstrates the dual role of local actors as producers and processors without involving intermediary traders, so that the added value of Job's tears (Hanjeli) products is fully enjoyed by the local community and supports the economic sustainability of the tourism village.
