About the Journal

Hexagro (P-ISSN: 2549-2691, E-ISSN: 2686-3316) is a scientific open-access journal published twice per year in February and August. The focus of this journal is on Agriculture.  The scopes included agribusiness, social-economy of agriculture, extension, agricultural marketing, entrepreneurship, urban farming, agronomy, climate change, and environmental issues. 

Hexagro is essentially a sharing platform for authors, where junior writers with brilliant ideas, concepts, and research results can gain experience from senior writers, who serve as mentors to guide and motivate them. Hexagro is expected to become a place for the dissemination of ideas and the permanent preservation of scientific records, and to build a reputation for these writers before stepping into a more reputable international journal.

Hexagro has been indexed by Sinta 5, Google Scholar, Dimensions, Scilit, Garuda, Neliti, BASE, OneSearch, and Crossref since 2019, and all articles have DOIs with the prefix 10.36423/hexagro. Hexagro has entered into partnerships with PERHEPI and AAI. Hexagro is open to collaborating with journals and relevant institutions. Hexagro only accepts manuscripts that have not been published and are not under review for publication elsewhere. 

To improve the quality of manuscripts and reach broader international audiences, Hexagro began publishing articles in English, Vol. 7, No. 2, August 2023. The quality articles will be subsequently translated into English by Hexagro translators.  The writing procedure follows the requirements described in the author's guidelines. The writing has to follow the Hexagro article template (download). The reference and citation strongly suggest using the Mendeley application (mendeley.com). If there are any issues with the Open Journal System (OJS), Hexagro still accepts manuscripts via email (hexagro@unper.ac.id) and WhatsApp to ensure the process runs smoothly.
