Open Access Policy
Informatics and Digital Expert (INDEX) is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or embargo, in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of every article.
License
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Anyone may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal, a link to the license is provided, and any derivative work is distributed under the same license.
Copyright
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors may deposit any version of their article (submitted, accepted, or published) in institutional or subject repositories, on personal websites, or in social networks for scholars, with an acknowledgment of its publication in INDEX and a link to the published version.
Publication fees
There is no submission fee. An article processing charge applies to accepted articles; see the Publication Fees page. The fee has no influence on editorial decisions.
Archiving and preservation
The journal's metadata and full texts are harvested through the OAI-PMH interface and are indexed in Garuda, Google Scholar, Indonesia OneSearch, BASE, Dimensions, and Crossref. Every article is assigned a permanent DOI (prefix 10.36423). The journal is working to join the PKP Preservation Network for long-term digital preservation.
