Ownership and management
Informatics and Digital Expert (INDEX) (e-ISSN 2715-0453, p-ISSN 2775-2208) is owned by Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya and published by its Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM), in cooperation with the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering. The journal has been published twice a year, in May and November, since 2019.

Governing body and editorial independence
The journal is managed by an Editor-in-Chief, managing editors, and an editorial board whose members are recognized researchers in informatics and computer science from several institutions; their names, affiliations, and Scopus IDs are listed on the Editorial Team page. Editorial decisions are made independently by the editors on the basis of scientific merit and are not influenced by the publisher, the university, advertisers, or the payment of fees.
Revenue sources
The journal is funded by Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya through LPPM, which provides the OJS hosting, DOI membership, and editorial staff. In addition, an article processing charge of Rp 350.000 is collected for each accepted article (see Publication Fees). The journal does not receive income from subscriptions, reprints, or advertising. Revenue has no bearing on editorial decisions.
Advertising
INDEX does not accept advertising of any kind on its website or in its articles. Logos displayed on the website refer only to indexing services, reference managers, and the plagiarism-screening tool used by the journal.
Direct marketing
The journal promotes itself only through calls for papers sent to academic communities, announcements on the journal website, and institutional channels of Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya. Such communications are accurate, are not misleading, and do not guarantee acceptance of manuscripts.
