Kandungan Klorofil dan Pertumbuhan Bawang Merah pada Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair dan Benzyl Amino Purine

Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan komoditas hortikultura penting yang pertumbuhan dan produksinya dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan unsur hara serta keseimbangan fisiologis tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair dan BAP terhadap kandungan klorofil dan pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah serta untuk mengetahui interaksi keduanya dalam meningkatkan efisiensi fotosintesis dan pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Huntu Utara Kecamatan Bulango Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan pertama terdiri dari empat dosis POC kulit pisang kepok (0 mL L-1, 50 ml L-1, 100 ml L-1, 150 ml L-1) dan konsentrasi BAP (0 ppm, 100 ppm dan 200 ppm). Variabel pengamatan meliputi jumlah daun, klorofil a, klorofil b, rasio klorofil a/b, total klorofil, jumlah umbi, bobot basah umbi dan bobot kering umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok berpengaruh nyata pada variabel bobot kering umbi, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, klorofil a, klorofil b, rasio klorofil a/b, total klorofil, jumlah umbi dan bobot basah umbi. Adapun konsentrasi BAP berpengaruh nyata pada variabel jumlah umbi. Interaksi antara POC dan BAP berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap seluruh variabel pengamatan
