Abstract

Animal feed additives can come from herbal compounds and probiotics. The combination of fermented green tea waste and probiotic Lactobacillus sp is thought to improve performance in poultry. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the level of addition of fermented green tea dregs and probiotics on body weight gain, feed consumption, and feed conversion of Cihateup ducks. This research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 4 treatments and 5 replications and 3 sub-replications. The study used 60 DOD Cihateup ducks reared for 8 weeks (56 days) by observing the effect of different treatments on the following: P1 (100% basal feed/PB + 0% ATHF), P2 (96% PB + 1% ATHF + 3 % Probiotics), P3 (96% PB + 2% ATHF + 2% Probiotics), P4 (96% PB + 3% ATHF + 1% Probiotics). The results of the study of fermented green tea waste and lactobacillus sp probiotics showed no significant effect on body weight gain, feed consumption, and feed conversion of Cihateup ducks.
